Big Red girls' varsity squash defeats Springside School

<p><strong>Recap</strong></p>
<p>This was a good win for the Big Red. Our first home match and our first match after the poor showing at EA. The question was what team was going to show up? The girls answered that definitively, from number one to number nine. Each player came out 110%. Not only did they play hard, they played smart. They had their plan and they executed. In contrast to the EA match, their rails were tight and deep, they served and returned with purpose, and they adjusted as necessary. Kudos up and down the ladder, but especially to Arielle Lehman and Carter Ashforth for their first official wins on the Varsity; to team-captain Lindsay Becker for blanking her opponent; and to Leila Shayegan for a hard fought match against a tough opponent. Next up, the team travels to Groton to test itself against its New England boarding school peers.</p>
